As a counsellor, the cornerstone of my work is to provide you with a confidential, private, and supportive safe space in which to explore feelings that you are finding difficult or distressing.

It is my role in our partnership to track where you are going, not to lead you in any particular direction.

This is because I am always mindful that you are the expert in your own life, and I know that the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic relationship that we build together.

This bond that we create within the therapy room is, I believe, what enables the healing part of the therapeutic process to take place.

Together we will create a safe space in which you will be able to explore your  feelings without fear of judgement.

The journey might sometimes be difficult and uncomfortable, but if it brings you to place of contentment, self awareness, and peace of mind, then I hope you feel it will be worth it.

“I’m trying to be a companion to you in your search and your exploration. I want to know, am I with you? Is this the way it seems to you? Is this the thing you are trying to express? Is this the meaning that it has for you?” So in that sense I’m saying, I’m walking with you step by step, and I want to make sure I am with you. Am I with you?”
